Karen S. Monrreal

Founding attorney of the Law Offices of Karen S. Monrreal, and the author of every guide in our Learning Center.

The firm was established in 2017 with one purpose: helping immigrants pursue legal status in the United States. Immigration law is the only area we practice. It changes constantly, and staying current in it is a full-time commitment.

Ms. Monrreal earned her law degree with honors from Western State College of Law in Irvine, California, after a Bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno. She has been licensed in Nevada since 2017 and is admitted before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the federal district courts of Nevada and New Mexico. She is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).

As a mother, daughter, sister, lawyer, and leader in her community, Karen pairs compassion with a commitment to raise immigrants up, give them a voice, and protect those who need it most. Through years of volunteer work in and around Nevada she has worked with people from many different walks of life, cultures, and communities.

She is fluent in English and Spanish.
